About Vaccine Forward

Vaccine Forward is a fundraising initiative for purchasing and distributing Covid-19 vaccines to the world’s 92 poorest economies through GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization) COVAX AMC.

Vaccine Forward is a nonprofit, registered by the Swedish Tax Agency and member of Giva Sverige (the Swedish Fundraising Association) the professional membership body for fundraising organizations in Sweden. Their aim is to achieve increased giving in Sweden by improving the conditions for our members to fundraise in a trustworthy way.

By-laws & donation policy

According to our by-laws, the purpose of the organization is:                   “Vaccine Forward is an independent, non-profit association whose aim is to promote the purchase and distribution of Covid-19 vaccines in countries that COVAX (which consists of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Vaccine Alliance (GAVI), the Coalition for Pandemic Preparedness (CEPI) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) ) has identified as in need of financial support to be able to vaccinate their population against Covid-19. The association shall collect cash for the purpose stated above, and the funds collected shall mainly be used for this purpose.”

Vaccine Forward may also accept donations intended for administration, marketing or other activities aimed at disseminating knowledge about Vaccine Forward and COVAX operations. It must then be clear that this is the intention of the donation.
